Bee Balloon Decoration
What you will need: Two large yellow balloons, yellow and black tissue paper, Paper glue (rubber cement), black permanent marker, black pipe cleaner, small black pompoms, tape, and black heavy duty thread to hang.
What to do:
1. Blow up the two yellow balloons, one half the size of the other. Glue them together using rubber cement pressing the two rounded ends together. To glue together paint the rubber cement on each of the balloons and let dry for a few seconds and then press together.
2. Cut a strip of black tissue paper about 4” wide and tape around the center of the body. Cut two large circles of black tissue paper. Use a plate to trace around. Cut into the circles and cut out the center. Place one circle around the neck of the bee like a collar.
Cut off any extra tissue paper and tape the tissue paper down. Do the same at the bottom of the bee.
3. Crinkle up a sheet of yellow tissue paper bringing the long side of the tissue paper together to form wings. Tape at the center. Cut the wings to the right size. Tape them to the back of the bee at the neck area.
4. Fold a black pipe cleaner in half, glue a pompom to each end of the pipe cleaner, and wrap it around the knot on the top of the bees head.
5. Draw on eyes and a mouth with a black permanent marker.
6. Tie a piece of thread to the top of the head to hang the bee.

LANTERNS
THIS ONES GREAT FOR WHEN YOUR LIGHTS GO OUT DUE TO STORM
Clean 4- 6- ounce baby food jars.
Materials
6 to 12 clean baby food jars
Spool of fine-gauge wire (not plastic coated)
6 to 12 voltive candles
Directions
1. For each jar, cut a piece of wire 40 to 50 inches long. Vary your lengths so your finished lights can hang at different heights.
2. Bend a wire in half to form a V-shaped handle for the jar. Hold the bent wire over a jar so 6 to 10 inches of the V extends above the jar for hanging. Wrap the rest of the wire around the threads of the jar mouth.
3. Twist each end of the wire around the V-shaped handle to fasten the wire securely. Pull tight.
4. Place a voltive candle in the jar, light, and hang!
5. You may want to add a little bit of sand to the bottom of the jar so the jar will not heat up!

Scented Valentine
Materials:
2 Heart shape paper doilies
White craft glue
Hot glue
Paper, silk or dried roses, pearl strands, other embellishments of choice
White tissue paper or cotton balls
Fragrance oil, regular cologne or perfume
Instructions:
Glue together two paper doilies with craft glue, leaving an opening at the top (centre) of your doily (wrong sides together).
Allow the glue to dry.
Tear up a little white tissue paper or you can use cotton balls
and spray a little fragrance on the
tissue or cotton.
Once your glue on the doilies is dry, push the scented tissue paper inside the doily,
insert a small piece
of ribbon at the centre inside top to create a
hanger and glue the doily opening closed, with the hanger between the two doilies.
Allow the glue to dry before handling again.
Using hot glue, glue a small bunch of roses, pearl strands,
etc to the top centre of the heart (see photo)
You can also add a written greeting to the centre of the heart.
If you decide to add a greeting, be sure to make this
the first thing you do,
as it will be difficult to write on the doily once it is assembled.
These can be used inside drawers, attached to hangers,
car freshners or anywhere you want to add a little fragrance.
Once the scent has diminished, you can simply spray the outside of the heart with new fragrance.
It's recommended that you spray the back of the heart, as the fragrance may leave a stain on the doily.
Spraying the fragrance evenly over the back of the heart will help to hide any stains that may be left behind from the fragrance
